Best restaurants to work for (biggest tips) in Madison, Wisconsin?
I'm looking to switch into a new job and I was wondering where the best places for big tips are in madison, wisconsin. Red Lobster/Chilis/Applebees I feel like are all on a similar level but I was wondering if there are some others that I may not have thought of around here

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
Answer 2 :
I've located a nice directory of restaurants that might help. You can drill down the Wisconsin results by cities close to you. If you phone a few of the restaurants you can narrow down wich one would work best for you. http://www.restaurantreviewsratings.com/Wisconsin-Restaurants.html

About Madison Square Garden security check

Madison Square Garden security check?
For concerts at Madison Square Garden, does security pat you down or use a metal detector on you at all? I want to bring in a camera, and normally at places like the Comcast Theater in Hartford, I just stick it inside of my jeans since they cant reach down your pants.. I want to know if that would work at Madison Square Garden.

Why don't Wisconsin liberals want to work...teachers are in Madison & Senators are AWOL...what's up with that?
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/02/20/12g-state-workers-fired-budget-deal-wisconsin-governor-warns/ Protesters are pledging to remain in the Wisconsin Capitol while Senate Democrats are committed to staying out of state until a compromise can be found with Gov. Scott Walker on collective bargaining rights for public sector employees.

Answer 1 :
Nobody wants to get the blame for letting this bill pass. It's a political suicide and they know it. Idc. If they want to hand in their resignations, let's have it. It's about time Republicans controlled the state.
Answer 2 :
Your answer is in your question: they want collective bargaining rights to REMAIN in place.
Answer 3 :
Why should they. They're going to get paid anyway. Besides, the students are probably better off without them.
Answer 4 :
They are doing their job. Their job is making sure the GOP doesn't destroy America's middle class and strip workers of basic human rights.
Answer 5 :
Getting stuff without working for it is what drives their whole ideology.
Answer 6 :
by bringing students along w/them they are in fact BREAKING the law...they should ALL BE FIRED,AND MAYBE CHARGED WITH A CRIME...
Answer 7 :
As far as the teachers go, they are just trying to protect their jobs. If the shoe was on the other foot, the Wisconsin Senate Republicans would do exactly the same thing the Democrats are doing.
Answer 8 :
Its not just teachers ,its public sector unions, why all the hate for the teachers ? they dont want to have the rules changed in the middle of the game like the Gov is trying to do. Paul grass the gov would go to jail if he did what you suggest
Answer 9 :
Maybe if you had half a clue as to what was going on in your own state you would realize that many government employees are conservative.
Answer 10 :
Lazy whining liberals. It's like populations that take the street if they don't win as opposed to being decent rational Democrats (people who peacefully live in a Democracy).
Answer 11 :
I wish they'd vote on it and let the Republicans deal with the backlash.
Answer 12 :
Liberals hate real work, which is why they support unions, it is disgusting that teachers who have only a 43% graduation or success rate can complain about anything they are damned lucky their jobs are not performance based or they would be as the Donald says FIRED, which they should be . I think the Gov should call out the guard and forcibly remove them from the capitol grounds
Answer 13 :
Even the players on the green bay packers have sent the gov. A signed petition telling him to not go ahead with this union busting bill.
Answer 14 :
I would pull a Reagan---give them 24 hours and then fire everyone of them for breach of contract. They are paid to teach-------let the union representatives fight it out, that why you pay union dues. This is a great example of what union public employees can and WILL DO to society .Same thing happened in NYC during the blizzard and people died.

About How does someone find work as a voice actor in Madison WI

How does someone find work as a voice actor in Madison WI?
I've recently started thinking about becoming a voice actor. I have a very nice voice and I can do lots of different voices and impressions. So, would I need to take classes or try to make a CD of my talents or what? Real and knowledgable opinions only please.

If you don't work directly for an advertising agency or broadcast station, you will either need to find an agent, or have LOTS of time, energy, and money to run around and try to promote yourself. Taking classes certainly wouldn't hurt, because they teach you how to breathe and speak smoothly and with the correct pitch and sound levels. Generally, your "audition CD" would have 3-5 minutes of you doing various types of speaking, from news, to Public Service Announcements, to advertisements, to your "voices and impressions." Make SURE your impressions are good, though. Otherwise the CD will end up in the trash more often than not. Best of success.

When I went to UWW back in the 70's my poli-sci professor did it. And that's before they made a lot of improvements in the road. My niece drove from Stoughton to UWW second semester a couple of years ago. It is doable.
