Does anyone drive between Madison and Whitewater, Wisconsin for work or something?
I want to know how is the driving on highways especially in winters? I have heard that the snow cleaning system is pretty efficient in Wisconsin but still was just wondering.....

When I went to UWW back in the 70's my poli-sci professor did it. And that's before they made a lot of improvements in the road. My niece drove from Stoughton to UWW second semester a couple of years ago. It is doable.

What is it like to work at Madison Square Garden?
I applied to work at MSG in one of their stores/restaurants and I got a call back. Just wanted to know what it is like to work there. Are the stores open every day? How hectic can it get? Do you make more than minimum wage? etc. If you have any info please tell me. Thank you. I'm sorry Old School that the only New York specific area is in the travel category. Getting New Yorkers to answer a New York specific question just felt like common sense to me. Of course it is an employment question, and I have already posted why I have placed this in the travel category. If it makes you feel any better I have to move to New York which involves "travel". Therefore answers here would help in my decision to "travel" to New York.

this is a great travel question. it has nothing to do with employment. its an employment question, not a travel one. i thought fellow new yorkers were smart. i have been prove wrong. and i worked there once, as did a few others i know.

I'm 15 years old and I was wondering how old do you have to be to work in stores, food courts, etc in the hilldale shopping center? THIS IS FOR PLL WHO LIVE IN MADISON WISCONSIN!!! I would call but I cant find their number anywhere!!! ITs not like a store, its like a big mall

You have to be 16 to do ANY of this all across the country. Sorry, hang in there, you will be 16 before you know it OR here's an idea why not call and find out?

I grew up and lived in WIsconsin for 34 years...all you have to do is obtain a work permit ...most places will let you work at the age of 15 as long as you have the permit. You can ask your parent (s) how to get one or where to go for one. Other than that you can be 16 and work without a permit. Good luck to you. Here in WI your parents have to get the work permit from wherever you want to work. When my daughter was your age, I got the work permit for her at the Drive-In.
